Experience versus Knowledge
You have to live the life to incorporate knowledge.
Knowledge is only understandable if we have lived it so that it has meaning, context and point of reference.
Example: Sunlight
- You can learn the physical detail about it - wave length range, colors, amount of hear energy, penetration depth when skin is exposed …
- However, the result is you cannot gain any of the sun’s benefits with this knowledge.
- So knowledge, is only as good as a fantasy story - you can’t eat it, it won’t keep you warm, it doesn’t sustain you.
- To experience sun:
- Stand in the sunlight, you will get warm
- Eat fruits or vegetables and the sunlight energy becomes part of you. It nourishes you, it sustains you.
- This is the difference!
