Worksheet - Spirit TalkThis worksheet accompanies the Spirit Talk article and provides insight, detail, inspiration and examples. Our genuine hope is that this information will unfold as is appropriate for you in order to facilitate the language of the Spirit. The utterance of the language of Spirit is unique and different for each person. To hear it spoken by another is like listening to a foreign language. Every sound spoken has it's own beauty and eloquence. Over time, as the language is exercised, some patterns and intonations can become more apparent. But the language can and does change over time. What does the language of the Spirit sound like? The language of the Spirit is manifest totally in the "Now" moment. It can sound like "gibberish" to the human ear because it has no past (there is no definition of the sounds, unlike our formally spoken language) and the future does not yet exist. The language is manifest simply to convey a "thought package" instantly. Once transmitted, it is gone. Just like a telephone line, once the voice packet is transmitted, the line is instantly clear. For this reason an infinite number of sounds and syllables come forth- those that can be heard, and those that cannot. One never knows what syllable and sound will come next. Just let it flow naturally. It is perfect. Here is a phonetically spelled sample of what the language of Spirit can sound like:
Exercise Now, utter the first sound that comes to you. Follow it with another sound. Then another and another and another. Just let the sounds flow out. Don't try to make sense of them. It is not gibberish. It is not nonsense. It is perfection that encapsulates thought, image, emotion and intent in one action. You are stepping outside of the box. You are moving away from mass consciousness, to a place where no distinction is needed between right and wrong, good and bad. This is a place where harmony and peace provide the love and insight that is needed. This is a safe place. Using the language of the Spirit Use Spirit talk at any time - when you are just waking, when you are resting, when you are tense, when you are considering alternatives, when you are giving gratitude, when you are praying. Any time you think of it is the perfect time. As the language is exercised, your conscious mind will become aware of feelings, emotions and sensations regarding the communication that is occurring. Your conscious mind expands because connections are being made or enhanced in many ways. For example, our heart beats because the brain sends a signal. Our lungs breathe because a signal is received from the brain. We don't have to consciously think about keeping our heart or lungs working. We tend to take them for granted because their function is so automatic. But when we gain awareness, we can influence their action. Awareness is the key that spontaneously opens the door to understanding. Speaking the language of the Spirit enables the connection between the two hemispheres of the brain and brings that which is from the "unknown" into the known. The connection already exists between you and your Higher Self. Acknowledging your higher connection through Spirit Talk is a very powerful tool to increase the level of awareness. Increased awareness empowers us with influence and brings us to a greater level of understanding that which brings forth new insight. A simple analogy of communication Here is a very simplified analogy to illustrate the position of the Spirit. Imagine that you (as your Highest Self,) are observing a rat wandering about in a maze. The rat's only concern is to successfully navigate the maze and find the cheese. The rat never looks up, so it doesn't see you. It doesn't know you are there. To help your rat, you might speak to it, tap on the box or try sending other signals to indicate how to get to the cheese instead of taking a wrong turn. But the rat doesn't understand any of the signals you are sending. The rat does not know that the cheese is stored in the pantry and if it climbed out of the maze, the maze race would be over and life could be simply enjoyed. So, day after day, you continue to send signals, but you're only successful on a subconscious level, which is when the rat is sleeping or daydreaming. Then, complicate the setting by adding 6 billion more rats to the maze. Each rat has a mind of it's own and will follow the pack (which represents mass consciousness.) It will trust in the pack even when the pack doesn't find cheese for days, or the greedy ones others ahead confiscate the cheese before it gets there. Mass consciousness decreases the effectiveness of any communication from you even more. The best you can do is keep trying and hoping that the rat will one day realize that there is a link to you. Then one day, the rat realizes that communication is coming from you, from above. The rat will work by trial and error to discover the keys to understanding this communication. Once the communication is exercised, you are able to assist and guide more effectively. Do you see the similarities? A higher analogy of communication Another analogy that can be used is the relationship between a horse and rider. The rider climbs in the saddle and uses the reins to give cues to the horse to control the speed and direction. The horse is most comfortable in a group, so the rider's job is easy and fairly mindless. The problem is that the horse is conditioned to automatically follow the herd - even if the path plunges off the side of a cliff! The horse is a powerful animal and has a mind of it's own. The rider can pull the horse's head to turn right, but the horse can and will often decide to go left. Lacking true control, the rider has to resort to creating consequences that are unpleasant for the horse when it fails to respond to the given cues. The rider is communicating up a storm, but the horse just doesn't understand. It will respond to the unpleasant cues by developing a tough mouth and a stiff neck and a definite attitude about "life." The rider needs to look for the "try" from the horse. The horse will try to communicate back to the rider. It's never too late. The horse reaches out and finally strikes accord. Then the communication is repeated, re-enforced, and then a relationship and trust begins to build. The communication becomes deeper as the needs and desires of both horse and rider become better understood and facilitated. This is the start. Speaking the language of the Spirit is the "try" that our conscious mind can use to start a dialogue with our Higher Self. Exercise Your next step is to increase your level of awareness. You've taken the first step, and in doing so, there will be changes. Describe how you will try to increase your awareness. Will you plant flowers? Will you listen to the wind? Will you breathe more deeply? Will your heart beat with more conviction? What things will you think of when talking to Spirit? Will you convey how beautiful the world is? Will you convey your darkest fears? How will you learn to trust Spirit? What will happen after this connection with Spirit is made? Your experiences will be absolutely unique. Have faith that what will happen for you will be appropriate for you. Your experiences will be influenced the "home" that your Spirit Energy emanates from. Keep in mind that you are not "making" this connection. You are bringing forward the realization that this connection already exists within you. You will be learning how to use this facility and exercising the connection. Here's a list of some of the possibilities that you might experience:
Dreams The effect of Spirit on nightly dreams can be far reaching. There are three basic types of dreams that are remembered after waking. The first type of dream is a "housecleaning" type of dream. The second type are dreams manifest from memory. The third type are Spirit dreams that reveal information from the unknown. Housecleaning dreams occur when the brain is cleaning and sorting information that has been collected recently. These are usually silly dream with little continuity. Often, the situations don't seem to make sense. People are dressed strangely, the sequence of events can be distorted. For example, if you had gone to parent-teacher conferences for your 5th grader and also had a disagreement with an older aunt, your housecleaning dream might have your aunt sitting in your child's classroom. The situations are totally outside of reality. Your brain is sorting through past events and deciding to either store or discard the info. Memory dreams can appear traumatic and frightening. Your subconscious may be trying to make sense and deal with these fears. But these are always of the past. It is possible that something repressed could be trying to surface. Spirit dreams are dreams that truly transport you into the unknown. Most of the time, these excursions are not recalled, but when our conscious mind is able to glimpse into these energies, it tries to interpret the visions based on conventional knowledge which is based on Old Energy patterns. Hence, the dream is usually misinterpreted. These dreams can only be explained by the New Energy patterns and constructs. There is a difference between Spirit dreams and the other type. You have a certain amount of CONTROL in Spirit dreams and can direct the actions and activities. For example, if you dream that you're in a foreign country and someone has stolen your wallet, you have the power to "rewind" the dream, go back to the place you left it and retrieve it. Or, you can simply manifest another wallet. This dream place is where you can practice manifesting the type of world that you would like to see in reality. There are no victims in this place. Spirit dreams can also be frightening if you allow your mind to misinterpret them. It is very important to understand that the vision you see represents energy and imagery from the New Energy. Shortly after I learned to speak in tongues, I had a Spirit dream that was extremely powerful and vivid. I saw myself engulfed in flames. There were people nearby, but nobody seemed to notice me. There was a river nearby, but I wasn't inclined to jump in. I awoke from this dream, my heart pounding in terror. My conscious mind wanted to equate the events of this dream with burning at the stake. But there was so much that didn't fit! The flames were cool and did not burn. They did not consume. The flames were more like radiant light dancing than actual fire. Still, I spent much time in consternation, trying to figure out if I had done something wrong. The meaning that Spirit had attempted to convey a very different meaning that I did not understand until I had another dream several years later. In this later dream, my Spirit Guides announced that it was time for them to ascend and move on. The same type of flame came upon them as they ascended and moved on to their New Energy. At first, I feared that they were burning alive, but one of them touched me and showed me it was simply a transformation to a higher energy level. The flames were radiant light and were non-consuming. It was then that I understood my first dream. I had actually met my Higher Self. And she has been ever present since. Spirit Connections to the Elemental, Angelic and Adamic Realms Elemental (Devic)
Realm Spirit Energy Ascended Master (Adamic) Realm Spirit Energy If your Spirit Energy emanates from the Ascended Masters (Adamic) Realm, you may feel unsure of yourself and your progress in speaking with Spirit. You are very used to the concept of a creator that watches over you and sets up the events in your life. You have grown accustomed to the oversight of a host of angels and saints that you pray to and ask for assistance. You often question your worthiness to receive this gift and actively participate in the Spirit. You are used to following the direction of others. But you are not comfortable with your situation and you wonder - "Is this all there is? Isn't there more to life than what I'm living now?" These are the urgings of your Higher Self to prompt you to validate your connection to Spirit. If you are not comfortable proceeding forward on your own and have the need for structure and authority, your may need to take your quest to a religious fellowship or church that can bring ritual and structure into the picture for you. Travel the road that calls to you. When you participate in the language of the spirit, your soul becomes light and filled with an endless amount of love and joy. Angelic Realm Spirit Energy If your Spirit Energy is from the Angelic Realm, chances are you are already working with people in a teaching or healing profession. Parts of you are determined to try to save people from themselves, to prevent them from making mistakes. Sacrifice and sorrow can fill a major part of your life, and you accept these conditions as inevitable. Angelic Realm energy beings tend to be spiritual leaders and light-workers. Some of you remember the comforts of your "home" and long to return there. You feel ill equipped to function in this reality. Summary Connecting with your Spirit Energy by using the language of the Spirit is awesome and powerful. The Spirit will always be ready and waiting for you. The timing will always be appropriate.
